I opened the mailbox this weekend and got quite the pleasant surprise - fertility socks! I had requested a pair several weeks ago and then had forgotten all about them. So it was really nice when I opened the envelope and found the cutest pair of socks covered in lucky (I hope!) lady bugs along with a really sweet note that almost made me cry. I'm planning to wear them at my transfer next month if we actually make it that far this time.
It's amazing how something as simple as socks can totally brighten your day and make you feel like someone out there truly understands and cares about what you are going through. Emily should be commended for coming up with the idea and then taking the time to send out all these cute socks along with a handwritten note of encouragement. I plan to go shopping for a pair of cute socks to donate to the cause soon.
If you'd like to request your own pair of socks or would like to donate, you can find out more at her website - www.fertilitysocks.org.

OMG I had not heard of this sock thing. Such a wonderful and fun idea. Thanks for passing this alone!
Hey girl! So glad you are feeling better. I am so sorry for what you have been through recently - my experience being similar I do think I understand. I so hope it works out for you next time. I'll be hoping and praying for you.
