Good news - I have a donor and she has been approved by the doctor! Yay! Extra good news - it only took three days for the doctor to approve the donor this time, compared to a freakin' MONTH last time - so progress is a good thing! I'm excited.
Bad news - I don't know any of the details yet. The nurse called me late yesterday just to let me know about the approval (I had called earlier asking if the doctor had gotten the chance to look at the file, yet.) She said he did approve her, but she (the nurse) is going to be out of town at their other clinic today but she would call me tomorrow with all the details and then send over the paperwork for me to officially accept her if I like her. I so hope I like her...
I have some idea of which one it may be - I had actually given them three that I would be interested in, but I have a feeling that it may be the first one I mentioned. I'm kind of hoping it is. On paper, with the limited details that I have so far, she sounds perfect - or nearly so. She's a little older than I would like but she is a proven donor. Or it could be one of the other two - guess I'll know more tomorrow, but I'm excited! At least they were able to quickly match me with another after the last donor didn't work out like I had hoped. Maybe we'll actually get the ball rolling some time this summer.

This sounds like good news all around! Yay! Can't wait to hear about your donor. I hope she's perfect and that you're thrilled with her and that she makes gorgeous eggs!
Crappers! How frustrating that you don't have the file yet - but on the good news front, you are definitely moving more quickly this time. :)
What a relief! Waiting for the donor is the worst - and you have just had your share of rotten luck. Hopefully you used all that up! Can't wait to hear all about the new donor, hope she's the perfect match.
