It's so nice when the nurse calls you before you get the chance to call them to find out what the plan is. I had been thinking that I would call next week to get a better idea of exactly when I needed to come in for my u/s before starting Lupron, but she beat me to it and called me today. She told me to plan to come in next Wednesday and she would go ahead and order my meds for me, so we should be set.
So, next week is the beginning of our absolute last and final try - unless we happen to end up with some great frosties - but this is it. Knowing that this is our last shot scares the crap out of me, but I'm also ready to be done with the constant shots and doctor appointments and two week waits and terrible disappointments.
My fortune today in my Chinese take out - Luck helps those who help themselves. Well, we are certainly doing everything humanly possible to help ourselves be successful this go round - using donor eggs AND donor sperm - we should have tons of luck coming our way this time.
