Waiting on AF - Parsley Anyone?

I talked to my nurse. Everyone is ready to go - the donor can start any time. Now, we are just waiting on me to get AF. This really sucks. Her advice was to just relax and not stress and it will come eventually.

Yeah, right. So I decided to consult Dr. Google and found several articles that said drinking tea made from parsley is known to induce your period. You supposedly boil parsley in water, let it steep for 30 minutes and then drink several glasses a day. I read about lots of people who swear by it. Some even say you should just stick it right up your hooha, as well. Don't know about that, but I think I can certainly handle drinking some parsley tea.

I'll be stopping by the grocery store on the way home. I'll let you know if this craziness actually works or not!

Just to alleviate any of your fears... those fancy doctors can make your period come so they really mean it when they tell you not to stress out. And no need to put parsley into unmentionable places. don't fret! So much of this process is out of everyone's control but the RE can control AF when they want.

Seriously, the idea of placing parsley well, up there, cracked me up completely. Please don't though -- it will be hard to explain next time someone is poking around in there.
I'm not going to preach patience -- I suspect you are past that, so my answer is acupuncture -- I think it could help your cycle.

With everything set to go, I'm sure I'd be anxious to get AF too. But the idea of parsley tea sounds, well, not very tasty. I hope it works!
