Show and Tell

I am so excited about my garden. The tomatoes that I planted in May are finally starting to ripen. I'm hoping that they may be ready to eat in the next day or two. I also have another zucchini growing, so I'm thinking that either tomorrow or Thursday night we'll cook some salmon and eat the tomatoes and zucchini that we grew on our deck - how cool is that? I'm really getting into the whole "eat local" movement. I've been trying to eat vegetables in season that I'm getting from my CSA or the Farmer's market. I love eating fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables. I stopped at a farm stand on the way home from work and bought some peaches - yum! So here's the latest photo of my tomatoes and then my two kitty babies - I was inspired to post after seeing musicmakermomma's doggies.

Even though they are both outside in these photos, they are indoor cats. However, I do let them out on the deck from time to time. We have a blended family - I brought the kitties to the family. My husband brought our dog - a lab-shepherd mix. I'll have to post a photo of him next time.

In other news, my donor finally gets back from vacation tomorrow and, according to my schedule, she should be starting stims this week, which means I'll get to add the delestrogen to my drug repertoire and I think I have to insert an Estring - I have no idea what this is - did you all have to do the estring thing?

estring? Well, you stumped me. Then again, I'm not on delestrogen shots either. I am using oral estrogen and vivelle patches.

(1) I am so jealous of your reddening tomatoes! Fantastic! My single tomato is still green, but one day....!

(2) Your cats were nice enough to pose in their most ferocious, "don't mess with me, I am cat!" poses. So regal. Love them!

(3) I have no idea what a Estring is. And my DH just gave me my Delestrogen shot an hour ago. It took us a LONG time to finally find the right (read: non-painful) location and method.

Get ready to transfer!
