Quick Update
I'm supposed to be laying in bed - but quickly - we transferred two high quality blats! My first blasts ever - they looked beautiful and were graded a 4 which is my clinic's highest grade! Those froze 3 already and may be freezing even more.
Congrats! I can't wait to hear how everything turns out. :)
I have been following your blog for awhile now and I so feel your pain.
I had a surprise pregnancy last March after over a year of trying that I didn't catch until I was almost 2 months along. By the time we were going in for our first OB appt I was rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery. I had an ectopic pregnancy and it ruptured my fallopian tube which had to be removed.
We started seeing an RE after that. It was then that I was diagnosed with low egg count, PCOS like symptoms but not PCOS, all at the age of 31 for me and my 26 year old husband has low sperm count.
We were told that our chanced of getting pregnant on our own was 1-3%. We have done IUIs so far and I am losing weight before we even think about having to go down the IVF path. I am down 10 pounds but I have about 90 more to go before I will be at the weight I was in college.
Please keep us updated and I will keep you, your husband, and your embies in my prayers.
That is great news! With two high quality blasts you have a great shot.
Out of the pages of my personal experience: if you start to have cramping in the next few days DO NOT PANIC. Cramping can be a sign of implantation - it was for us. If it happens, just take it easy.
Somehow I am now 40 - not sure how that happened. My husband and I have been ttc for 4 years without success. We've tried everything - 2 failed IVF cycles, one IVF cycle that was converted to a failed IUI cycle,a failed donor egg cycle and most recently a failed donor egg and donor sperm cycle and then a failed FET cycle with those embryos. We changed doctors and now are trying a final donor embryo cycle before we give up completely.
